IT Support: For all IT related inquiries, please contact lshelp@ucdavis.edu or visit https://lsit.ucdavis.edu/. LS IT provides support software, cloud base services and with purchasing new computer equipment, computer and printing troubleshoots, and other technical issues. 

Parking Services: Transportation Services (TAPS) provides the following services to the campus: sale of parking permits; motorist assistance to vehicles parked on campus; commuting options, including green transportation, through the goClub program; and bicycle registration, lock cutting service and summer bike storage: http://taps.ucdavis.edu/about.  Faculty and Graduate Students can purchase a campus-parking permit through the TAPS website, at http://taps.ucdavis.edu/parking

  • Exam Room Reservations:  
  • All faculty and TAs may also utilize the UC Davis Testing Services Center for assistance in scheduling and proctoring student SDC accommodations and makeup examinations. Note that this unit prioritizes large lecture classes and all requests must be submitted five business days in advance. Please visit https://testingcenter.ucdavis.edu for full guidelines and instructions on how to submit a request.

  • Department Mailboxes
  • Anthropology mailboxes are located in Young Hall room 330 (3rd floor). Sociology mail boxes are located in SS&H room 1298 (main floor). ME/SA mail boxes are located in 116 Everson Hall.                      
  • Text Books/Desk Copies/Library Reserves
  • Priscilla Cordova (ANT) , Joanna Kaminski (SOC) and Wilson Xieu (ME/SA) will contact instructors to request quarterly textbook, desk copy and library reserve orders at least one quarter in advanced.  All efforts will be made to obtain desk copies for Faculty, AIs, and TAs, however, providing complimentary copies are solely determined by the publishing company’s discretion. 
  • Photocopy
  • Photocopy machines are for the use of exam photocopying purposes only.  Faculty and Graduate Students may contact Priscilla Cordova (ANT) ,Joanna Kaminski (SOC) and Wilson Xieu (ME/SA) to receive the operating code.  Note there are photocopying peak periods, such as the start of academic quarter, mid-terms, and during finals week so please plan accordingly. 
  • Printer Usage 
  • Each Green Cluster Department provides their Graduate Students access to a shared departmental printer.  For assistance please contact Priscilla A. Cordova (Anthropology) pacordova@ucdavis.edu, Joanna Kaminski (Sociology) and Wilson Xieu (ME/SA) wtxieu@ucdavis.edu. Graduate Student are limited to a page quota throughout the academic year.  Do not use the network printer for large copy requests. Requests to increase printing quota may take up to one (1) full business day to process.
  • Keys
  • Upon arrival to campus, arrangements will be made to provide new Faculty , Graduate Students and department affiliates with keys to assigned office spaces as well as to the main doors of the building. Please contact:
